MAPS - Interact Club

Park Traffic Training

Students were encouraged to assimilate the do's and don’ts of road safety the “fun way” through activities like cycling on test-track dotted with miniature road signs and signals at Traffic training Park, Punjabi Bagh from 30th May till 3rd July. Around 30 students were under surveillance and were enthused with games and grant and beautifully printed T-Shirts. The students were auspiciously trained prop up by Mr. Neeraj Sharma and Ms. Jyoti Aggarwal. 



Swachh Bharat Mission at Purana Qila
The Interact Club of MAPS took another initiative by mobilizing the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan at Purana Quila,Delhi on 21st April 2016.The Interactors cleaned the surroundings and induced in the people the need for a Clean India. Under the allocated guidance of Director Isha Verma and Director Baneet Kaur, the Interactors braced the cause and the drive proved to be an enormous success.



ORGAN DONATION CAMP
MAPS Interact Club announced Organ Donation Camp in the campus today itself. Nothing can be more nobler than giving a gift that would impact someone's future , making life more beautiful & worthy of being lived.

There are thousands of potential cadaver donors whose organs cannot be used, as the family is unaware about the deceased person’s wish. Each one of us can help to save the life of another by pledging to donate our organs after death.

Over 80 Nation stars took initiative to make it more successful.This was the one of its own kind and we achieved a good start for more such upcoming projects.





MAPS-Move on

India has been traditionally vulnerable to natural disasters on account of its unique geo-climatic conditions. So, In a bid to ensure safety of Delhiites , Maharaja Agarsain Public School organized a workshop on Disaster Management in collaboration with NDRF (National Disaster Response Force).It was a great learning for the Agarsanians to experience the mock drills and seminars. Interact Club was also nourished by aiding the NDRF Team. It instilled the student’s responsibilities for dealing with all humanitarian aspects of emergencies and particular preparedness for recovery during the circumstances. The Interact Club under the esteemed guidance of Principal Mrs. Punam Gupta and Club Incharge Mrs. JyotiAggarwal vigorously initiated to make the event a tremendous accomplishment.






 Visit to Indira Gandhi National Museum
Director Isha Verma and Interactor Aditi Aggarwal from MAPS Interact Club visited Indira Gandhi National Museum on 27th April 2016 along with students of class 1 and 2 and Teacher Inchare Ms. Jharna Pradhan. The yound minds got an opportunity to explore the world and learn about the Iron Lady of India- Smt. Indira Gandhi. It was a motivating experience for the all the students



No-Tobacco Campaign
The No-Tobacco Campaign was organized in the school on 25th April 2016 by Interact Club to aware students to encourage people around them to abstain from tobacco consumption in any form. Students engaged in various activities like poster making, slogan writing and debate competitions in order to spread awareness among peers about the ill-effects of tobacco on health. Interactors rallied all over the school raising slogans about the issue. The campaign successfully instilled awareness among the students about the detrimental practice of Tobacco consumption.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan

MAKING HEADWAY TOWARDS A CLEAN NATION…..
“Cleanliness is, indeed, the cornerstone of discipline and the trademark of success.”
These words remained the accent of the grand celebrations on October 10, 2014 as the school took yet another initiative to promote the massive ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’. The prestigious Rotary Club of Delhi organized the event and garnered students from the Interact Clubs of Maharaja Agarsain Public School, DAV Public School, Maharaja Agarsain Adarsh Public School  and Little Fairy Public School for the social cause of cleanliness and its encouragement among the common masses. The Rotarian dignitaries endorsing the civic gathering were Rotarian Prashant Sehgal Ji, Rotarian Vimal Gupta Ji and Rotarian Yadav Ji from the Rotary Club of Delhi, honourable Principal of DAV Public School, Mrs. Kusum Bhardwaj and Principal of Maharaja Agarsain Public School, Mrs. Punam Gupta and Mrs. Jyoti Aggarwal, Rotary Interact Club Incharge of Maharaja Agarsain Public School, who did the spadework for the event which aimed at raising the importance of cleanliness and sanitation. The students rallied across the streets of Ashok Vihar, Nimri Colony and J.J. Colony, in a concerted effort to support the adage of ‘Clean India Green India’ and endeavored to pursue all the people to the noble cause. Along with the students of the Interact Club, all the students of classes IX – XI of MAPS were a part of the venture. The mob of people, full of enthusiasm and sparkle, raised vehement slogans and prompted each person to make his move towards cleanliness. The Street Play presented by Agarsainians highlighted the importance of sanitation and hygiene and remained the show-stopper of the huge procession. The tremendous essay of the Rotary Club, in association with the Interact Clubs of school, bore fruits by winning heaps of praises by all the spectators as well as the students and teachers who made it a sensation. The grand celebrations culminated in the school at half past eleven as the throng of students reached back after triumphing through the streets and rallying with energetic spirits. The whole school addressed the students for this feat and noble efforts. It gave the whole school a sense of accomplishment and victory as the Interact Club made terrific efforts to shore up the cause of cleanliness and get their voices heard in every part so that each person may reach out to extend his support to the ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’.
