RAAHGIRI- CONNAUGHT PLACE
On the glorious Sunday morning of September 7, 2014, the Interactors of our school gathered for bonafide causes and spirits full of zeal and vigor, at Inner Circle, Connaught Place to be a part of the historic RAAHGIRI Programme, an initiative by The Times of India and Reebok company.The Interact Club of the school, known for its commitment to service to society, campaigned for various social causes like cleanliness, dignity of women, prevention of diseases through a melange of performances like street play, dance drama, Muppet-show etc. The team was led by Mrs. Jyoti Aggarwal (Teacher Incharge-Interact Club) who had worked diligently to bring out the best results.








Suyash Sadana (Treasurer, Interact Club) and clearly stole the show by eliciting a token of appreciation from the honorable Rotarian Governor- Sanjay Khanna  and Miss Earth 2011- Hasleen  Kaur for his evocative painting, made in around 2 minutes. Also, Jagatdeep Singh (Director, Interact Club) rocked the ramp by his rap. The show was a BIG HIT!










The Interact Club held the Agarsainian flag high at the mega event by captivating the audience with their breath-taking performances. Our bagpipers embraced the essence of Bhangra with attention grabbing tunes and pulsating music, providing the grand-finale.

Road Safety Workshop

ROAD SAFETY DRIVE

PRIMARY
Interact Club of Maharaja Agarsain Public School, Ashok Vihar took up the cudgels to make the roads safe with ‘Road Safety Week’(21st July – 26th July’14) .
During the week, students of classes III-V visited Traffic Training Park at Roshanara Road. The purpose of the visit was to sensitize the children about road safety, traffic rules and significance of traffic signals. The mood was light and energy level high when this educational excursion full of knowledge and fun was organized for the primary students. The students attempted worksheets based on traffic rules to reiterate the learning. The Road Safety Drive indeed was an awareness package that aimed at nurturing safety in young minds. It is rightly said that ‘children of our county are the living horoscope which is to be minded for the future’. A country where children fulfill their duties is sure to make a headway.

SENIOR
Interact Club of Maharaja Agarsain Public School organized a Traffic safety Drive on 7th August 2014 as a small initiative to instill in the empowered minds the need to maintain traffic safety and create awareness among students about safety rules in the hope of a safe traffic future.
The dignified personality  SriVedPrakashji  the Honourable Traffic Police Assistant Subinspectorwas called in the premises to make the students aware about various traffic signs and safety rules.
The MOBILE EXHIBITION VAN was the highlight of the visit and left an indelible impression on the students
The initiative was a big hit. The traffic safety rules and signs were successfully imparted to the students.

A Move towards Magnanimity…..

With a maxim to derive peace through serving to humankind, a vision to make this world a better place to live in and a strong determination to serve the community by heart, the Interact Club stands out from other clubs of the school in terms of its philanthropic goals and humanitarian efforts.\\
It was 25th July 2014 when the Interact Club successfully installed its new team in the gracious presence of the members of the Rotary Club of DelhiMr. Vinod Gupta, Mr. Vimal Gupta, Mr. Girish Mehta and Mr. Kamal Bhambani who were given a cordial welcome by the Head Boy and Head Girl followed by the national anthem. The guests then lit up lamps as a commemoration for Interact Club ushering into a new phase with reinvigorated goals and visions. They were heartily welcomed with a melodious euphony by MAPS choir. The programme featured spectacular performances by the students of Interact Club including a street play and rap based on Road Safety and on-the-spot painting on Human Trafficking along with a musical bonanza which were relished by everyone. The president of the Interact Club, Bhawna Gupta, inaugurated her new team and discussed the future plans and activities of the Interact Club for the session 2014-15. The students then swore in as the new team of the Interact Club after taking the solemn oath. The Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Delhi felicitated the new team with badges and awarded the Interactors of the previous session for their noble efforts. Honourable guest Mr. Vinod Gupta stirred the audience through his words of wisdom and highlighted the importance of being humane more than anything and encouraged the students to involve themselves in community services. Interact Club Incharge for session 2014- 15, Mrs. Jyoti Aggarwal Mam shared the future ambitions and objectives of the Interact Club in making contributions towards humanitarian services. The Interact Club of the school embarked upon its new journey of 2014-15 and promised to serve the community with dedication and carry the legacy forward.
